right, i know we got a draw etc etc and this is partly emboldened by a couple of bevvies and i'll probably withdraw half of this in the morning but;

1. brezovan- what a fucking shocker, first time i've seen him this year and good lord, has he forgotten how to kick? his english has presumable regressed as well as he didn't say one word to the defenders all night!

2. lee peacock- not all his fault because sturrock needs his head looking at for playing him wide, but for the love of god man TAKE A BLOODY SHOT! passion and commitment doesn't overrule no ability, awareness or pace.

3. aljofree, there's more to the fucking game than putting your left foot through the ball time and again, show a bit of control eh? all the drawbacks of ady williams but none of the plus points. how he's captain is beyond me.

4. what the hell was sturrock thinking? why not play roberts wide and peacock central, or drop lee altogether and play pook? where the hell did adams come from? didn't change it until the horse had pretty much bolted either.

5. paynter and cox- resting on their laurels, dip in form or sheer ineptitude?

we had players falling over, tackling each other, no communication at all, it was dross. minges was appalling, as was JPM down the right, they Vut through us at will down that flank.

the only reason we didn't get stuffed is because we had a decent ref and orient seemed intent on giving the ball away as much as us.

oh, and sign that adam boyd, he's skill.

sorry all. phew!

Maybe. Don't know why but that was one of the most annoying performances I've seen.

Thing is, I went with someone who hardly ever goes and he doesn't want to come back now!

I don't see how having a decent ref can help us get a point out of the game?!

1. Brez isnt the same keeper, but he was 10 times better than he was the last two games

2. I agree, its not just Peacock though - none of our players wanted to shoot today

3. Utter Shite. Aljofree is class and does more than just hoof it forward.

4. Drop Peacock and play Pook - what the fuck are you thinking? I thought Adams played well. I was a bit bemused by the line up but the idea was clearly to play the ball to Peacock on the left to flick inside to Cox and Paynter.

5. Nope, up against better defensive. Bournemouth, Gillingham and Millwall or Tranmere, Doncaster and Orient

pook's a better bet to play on the wing than peacock because the latter can't run 2 yards without sliding or falling over.

Ummm, just no.

Personally I wouldnt have either on the wing, but given the choice it would be Peacock.

Again, he was there for a reason.

On saturday we played the diagonal ball alot and Zaaboub got no where near it. He was out there purely for his areial ability - on which Pook has very little.

Although, again I wouldnt play Pook on the wing at all.

spot on.

peacock won pretty much everything in the air tonight, zaaboub won pretty much nothing in the air on saturday. although why we play that diagonal ball to zaaboub in the first place i'm not sure.

it's all a bit andy gurney, innit?

anyway...aljofree is a class act, safety comes first and nine times out of ten i'd rather see him boot it into row Z than attempt anything fancy. he's very good on the ball for a central defender.

brez's handling improved, his kicking worsened. perhaps he can't do two things at once?

cox was knackered as he chased everything like a dog on heat, paynter looked as if his mind was elsewhere and short on confidence. very poor, i'd drop him for corr if the big irishman is ready to start games.

didn't think comminges was too bad, fairly average.

orient wouldn't have stuffed us if we played a team of cripples

The whole 'long ball to Peacock on the wing' is a bit of a boring tactic though. Some of Orients one touch, give and go's were nice to watch (even if it was carving through Aljofree)

Entitled to his opinion whether you agree with it or not though! I don't really agree with him tbh, rarely do but I can see where he's coming from on a few... Harsh on Aljofree on Adams IMO.

agree and disagree. Brez wasn't great but like somone else said, is getting better and FFS - he's been out for ages, he's bound to be rusty.

Minges was poor - but why the bloke behind me kept shouting 'useless' every time he touched the ball, I'll never know. Cos that helps...

Ifil: another monumental performance.

Aljofree: excellent awareness, good in the air - distribution mainly hoofed. We need to keep the ball on the floor.

Zaboub: he was immense, looked good on the ball, livedly, tracked back - excellent display.

My main criticism comes in midfield. We never look likely to control the pace of the game. It looked like we played with three centrally (Peacock kept coming in) with JP on the right. Opponents are alwasy gonan try and cut supply to him off, so we needed someone on the other flank - why was roberts only brought on when we went a goal down?!

Up front we needed corr at half time, for whateve reason paytner and cox were off the boil - although cox's work rate was impressive. Paynter was poor IMO.
