Well if the rumours are true that SSW and Diamandis have fallen out, then Diamandis won't be doing any negotiating...

All this, of course, is completely unsubstantiated.  But if it's true, this Fitton chap sounds all right.

Fitton strikes me as a decent footballing guy a bit like Bill Power to an extent. Much rather have him than BEST.

Hopefully diamond M wont totally destroy this takeover bid. Great that Fitton has seen through him.

I don't see how Diamond M has the power to upset the apple cart. He has shares, but not enough to make a difference if SSW disagrees with him.

Thing is since when does SSW disagree with Diamandis? He seems to let Diamond Mike do what he wants so it seems, I would really like to know if those two have fallen out, if they haven't then i can see this takeover falling through and then it will be the end of this club.

But maybe, just maybe SSW has finally opened his eyes!!

what makes you think he has any interest in football? as far as i'm aware he's not professed to being a fan of football, let alone a specific team.

you'd have to be a naive fool to try and "negotiate" with mike diamandis. he doesn't even like it when people offer him an extra £8m!

SSW has fallen out with D, this means that D's greediness might not work anymore. SSW is still looking at B, but that doesn't mean he won't entertain F. Just got to keep T under control.

I guess or something

Has anybody else seen Alphabet Enders? Or am I talking to myself.

Errrrr......did you not read any of the interviews with him over the last few weeks, or is your memory failing. He's currently the Chairman of Hungerford Town and has spoken several times about his ambition to be involved in football at a league club. This is a very rich man who's motivation seems to be the challenge of making a club successful without just chucking moeny at it. Sort of like the bloke up the road who's team play in blue and white hoops.

It was fairly obvious once there was an official sstatement sayng due diligence was going well, then it would fall through.

We have a couple of weeks before the official announcement,  we need to decise what our reaction should be    Shrug That's All Folks looks the most likely.

He also has stated in interviews like the radio one that he has been to see Swindon play a few times in the past, even though he doesnt know many of the present crop of players. But also trying to buy Newcastle Utd back in 88...oh right you said football team...I stand corrected!
