What do you do with all that money though?

You can only buy so many supercars and mansions.

Money loses all value.

like fuck it does, its ace.

Agreed, what can you get bored of! And why lose value

I get a bit pissed off when people go on about footballers wages.

The old argument that nurses, doctors, police, soldiers, etc, etc don't get anything like it is a bit stupid, maybe if 70'000 people paid to see an operation they'd get more.

It's a free market and they get what their business thinks they're worth.

The lucky bastards!

I agree hertab, I'd rather the players made the money rather than some greedy majority shareholder.

The players are the ones that earn the success on the pitch and should be rewarded for it, especially if their club is worth 100s of millions of pounds.

GFM you're talking shit my friend.

Just been on a NIC calculator website which has confirmed someone on that monthly wage would definitely pay that level of tax.

Key workers should get more. My mrs is a nurse and she gets paid pittance for what she does. She works in SCBU, and has been to uni for 4 years. She saves life's. Surely she worth more than 19k a year??

Yeah, I'm working at the hospital at the moment on a 3 month contract verifying data and I'm on the same money - seems daft to me.

I agree. I never said they shouldn't get more than what they currently earn, I just said it was stupid to compare their salary to that of a footballer.
