For example, in Samdy's post above, how do we know that we would have gone into liquidation without the payment?

None of us are lilywhite on the subject  though - if we had to wait for everything to be based on fact the forum would be sparsely populated .

FWIW  I think Gary is one of the more 'provocative' examples of the genre (and not in a good way)
