It seems almost inevitable that we will get a points deduction now that we have been hit with a transfer embargo for not paying footballing debts. Leeds lost points before this season for the very same reason... looks like the Football League is losing patience.

other clubs have embargos on them.doesn't necessarily mean it will lead to a points deduction? but anything could happen at stfc,it usually does!

Some fans will still stick up for the board even with a 15pt deduction

Not quite yet, but if we continue to test the patience of the football league we won't be far off.
People are drawing a lot of similarities between us and the Bates/Leeds situation, when in fact there is quite a few major differences....

Some fans will still stick up for the board even with a 15pt deduction surely not?! whatever makes you think that? we seem to have spent the majority of the past hundred thousand years under a transfer embargo, so i can't see a points deduction forthcoming.

They had a transfer embargo for breaking football league rules. They were not deducted points. Also Coventry I believe are under an embargo, no speculation of them losing points either. (And I think they are £28m in debt..)

Cov owe Southampton money for a player, to our knowlege we owe Cheltenham money for tickets + anything else there might be Its really not like Leeds.............

speculation? I was trying to draw comparisons with other situations and how it can affect us. I give up! But there no comparisons to make at the present moment, we are under an imbargo for not paying debts, all that will happen is that we won't be able to sign any players and any FL payments we are due the money owed will be taken from that. If it was due to the failure to pay the CVA then you could talk points deduction but the FL are obviously not bothered about that. Don't over exagerate when you don't need to, we know you've turned now as you used to be a board appologist once upon a time.

It's only administration that hails a points deduction though isn't it?
