I saw that.....personally I don't see a problem, insofar as its an incentive towards success. Back in the 60's 70's players always used to get a bomus for a crowd over a certain size....

I'd heard Ince was on a similar arrangement when he came here - a % of the gate over a certain level. Wonder if this is a common feature of managers' contracts ?

This is fair enough in a sense as the better you do the higher the gate goes so the more you would get paid a good incentive...and of course he was a high profile manager at a low level so there would probably have needed to be extra incentives.
If only he hadn't kept getting linked with all those jobs.....maybe Mikey D would have kept him here :?
