I think we can all say the board have stooped to an all time low over the last few days with the way they have treated Mex and Yeovil 2 loyal fans who were just airing a view point and I like many others found it shocking that they were banned and the threat of legal action is absurd.

Its important though at this time that we realise we have ruffled a few feathers and got under the skin of the board through getting the protests back into the spotlight.  We have seen Diamandis and James Wills come out of hibernation for there annual interview which will have only helped a protest recuitment drive with quotes like 'I bought shares for a laugh' and 'I got £325,000 for Dennis Wise' I think ALL swindon fans would want to know where that money was now and why our esteemed general manager thinks buying shares in Swindon is a laugh.

I completely disagree with a boycott and feel it would achieve very little, lets face it no matter how much attendances have fluctuated we still run at the same loss so don't think we are hitting the board hard by missing games the same money will still be lost.  We need to seperate the board and the team as the song goes "we love the team, we hate the board".  Yes all of this makes us annoyed and angry but not at our club its at our board so get to the games and protest before or after.

I think its time to set up the march for the Doncaster home game.  As a trust member can I ask the trust board to discuss whether they would get behind this? It would be great if we could get Alan to organise this.  Is anyone able to design a quick leaflet with say SOS (Save our Swindon) is organising a march for supporters to demonstrate there Love for Swindon Town FC and how they don't want to lose there club it could include some punchy bits below to do with how many investors have been unsuccesful in taking over the club, could also include quotes from there interviews in last weeks adver as I discussed before or just a list of money that has come in that has dissapeared or  how much there demanding from the club.  If anyone could design a leaflet like that and it could be distributed before the Vale away game then we could get the numbers we seek for the March, we then target the media next week explaining how a march will not distract the team and is merely showing supporters concern for the club and are seriously worried the current board do not have what it takes to keep the club in business.

If we can march in large numbers from the town centre to the ground we send a defiant message to the board WE WILL NOT GO AWAY, WE WILL NOT BE BULLIED AND WE WANT OUR CLUB BACK.  Now is the time not to be laying off it is the time to be applying more pressure we have rattled there cages now lets keep the heat on them, Mikey D has underestimated us I truly believe that.

stfctownenda. I totally agree with your sentiments, & I would vote for and join in a march. But to be honest I don't think most fans can be bothered. . Sure they don't want this board in charge, but they have been de-sensitised to the chaos that is STFC, & as such most are just far to apathetic to do anything.
I personally now think we will have to wait until Mid November or some revalation that reveals the truth.  I know that will possibly be too late to save the club in it's present form, but I really can't see any other alternative.    
Sorry to be so down beat here, but I am seriously thinking about whether, I can continue supporting the club in any way what so ever.

If we could get trust backing for the march along with a leaflet and some media coverage then I think we would get hundreds there.  We have attracted 200 + to the last two behind Arkells protests, we got great numbers for a meeting on a Monday night in GW.  The numbers are there if we plan it right and organise it.  By organising a large march from the town centre it will be in the face of the public, it will get large media coverage and it will be a peaceful protest so will avoid criticism and it will not effect Sturrock or the players preperation for a game.  Everyone feels passionately and strongly about what happened to Mex and Yeovil so march for them, march against the board and march for Swindon.

Whilst there is still a club the time for marching will never have gone.  I think its our best hope to get the message across it will get the coverage and I think it could get the numbers.  We need to stay united and strong against the board.  I think this will be more effective than Arkells protests which have gone a bit flat.

maybe in the future,but no way pre donny the numbers would be a few off here and their mates.also i expoct the post game protest to be down on the numbers there after the tranmere game,which were down on the cheltenham game.

I think the combination of the fact that it was unofficial, only posted on here and the Sturrock statement were mitigating factors, although the truth is probably that people are too precious over their Saturday 'rituals.'

i.e. people are bothered but not that bothered. Shame, as we'll all be weeping into their pint glasses on Saturdays, instead of anticipating the match ahead.

agreed, The trust backing down from the protests etc when there was momentum killed any chance of having a march with interest or any march that would have any impact. As soon as the trust backed out interest dropped and the media dropped the story all together.

You would need a trigger, the poor showing against Tranmere showed interest has dropped IMO.

Barring any dramatic news, the next trigger would appear to be Nov 16th.  If we get statements to the effect that "its going to take another week...." then people would be back in protest mode.
