The weekly british football newspaper is good but yes its not a magazine. On a related note I find the pres-season guides that the football league put out to be a pretty good read so.... if that was monthyl then yeah

Total Football was great back in the day. Funny, swearing, great pics, loudest fans, taking the piss etc.

But when football turned completely gay they went out of business. No coincidence.

I dont buy any of that shite now, fucking 20 page interview with steven gerrard licking his arse. ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz.

I'm not sure I'd be that bothered if it was anything like Shoot or Match but if it was original and funny then yeh I'd be interested!

it would depend if the people writing the thing knew what the fuck they were talking about.

For example in the NOTW Barry Corr made team of the week, now he did well when he came on but only played 10 fucking minutes.

Someone saw his name on the score sheet, knew he'd been injured and put him in the team.

Lots of papers cover the lower leagues, most do a half arsed job of it though.

Macca - I'd be interested, sound like a great idea - you should advertise it as a "plastic free zone"  - keeps the MK Dongs out

It depends on the format.

If its just a rehash of results and  small News of the World type match report then no I wouldn't.That said im not really interested in other teams Match reports either so thinking about it I proably wouldnt buy it.

If it was funny and fan based id buy it.I used to get WSC but thats a bit grown up for my liking these days.

I remember there was a mag dedicated to the FL in the early '90's, I believe it was called 'Matchday'.

I bought it, and I thought it was a good read.

It made a change from ready about Man Ure, Chelski, Liverpool, and the Arse day in, day out.
