What a comeback to the 1st team, scoring a goal on the 88th minute. I knew he would score but didn't bet on it Sad gutted.

I'm over the moon for the guy - must have been a huge relief to come back like that. Not sure I'd chuck him in for a start just yet though as Paynter and Cox have done very well together as a pair

Having never seen him play (was away of course last season) the bloke looks pretty handy!  When he came on, won everything in the air and actually directed the ball to a fellow team-mate rather than just heading it up in the air like many do.

Looks like a hard worker for sure and love the chant for him btw!

Like you said, he won every single header he contested. You rarely see that.

Watched him running in, knew he was going to get on the end of it. Brilliant.

Another winner in the last few minutes. We definately have an edge of fitness on most teams.

i don't think tranmere knew what hit 'em when he came on. paynter was causing trouble in the air but corr had the edge over both of their centre-halves.

not bad for a bloke with a broken back Cheesy

It is important that he comes back (pardon the pun) and scores goals, so that we have a bit of competition up front and it gives other teams an element of suprise when he offers something different. I think he will be a partner for Cox instead of one for Paynter - too similar.

Agreed. And it's been a while since that's happened.

What struck me about Corr yesterday was that he looked as sharp as he did last season. It was almost like he hasn't been injured at all and has been on holiday for 6 months  Cool If he keeps this up we'll have 3 class strikers to choose from.
