I saw, I'm guessing, this one up at Wroughton a good few years back, at some airshow featuring historic planes. I'm more of a railway than planes man, but went anyway, Think it was its last flight or something before losing its license, and it was immense, doing aerobatics, huge fucker flip flopping about in the sky I was so impressed I think I bought a book all about it.

Yes it's noisy Lebowski. Like a Concorde but without reheat (same basic engine - 101s as opposed to 593s). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rolls-Royce_OlympusMind you - if you want Concorde type effects then stand next to the runway at Fairford when the B1-B takes off. Now that is loud.
