Still one of the more bizarre seasons, three managers, shed loads of players like Fola and Brownlie.....and the orange protest. Quality stuff.

Because we finished 3rd in the fourth division?
And surely that's the worst finish in over 25 years?

how can it be our worst finish in 20 years when we got promoted? confused by that i is 3rd place in division 4 so in reality the season we got relegated we still finished higher... yes petty but hey. Its probably part of the reason we never had an open top bus or anything to celebrate. We shouldnt have been in League 2 in the first place.

At least Diamond Mike admits it was his doing that got us relegated.....if he'd asked me I could have told him, it would happen....putting me through those 9 months of misery is more than enough reason to despise the man.

The only good to come from the relegation I guess is that we are doing well now, Although I guess in reality during the 2005-06 season we should have been trying to improve our 12th place finish the season before!

I suppose, the relegation helped us sort out some on the pitch issues, but if they had been sorted at the right time in the first place....
