Thats basically why it kicked off. someone mentioned fiji and then cyprus concerning their 'footy' side and they took offence to it. they were just trying to hide their embarrassment

No...proof would be a picture of his foot touching the line - which that is not! I honestly couldn't call it, it was too close. However, those who have said they would support S. Africa because England are boring and don't score tries can eat their words tonight. England lokoed just as likely to score tries as the Springboks tonight and although it was a bit scrappy the game was genuinely exciting. Couldn't believe the Irish guys watching who were provocatively supporting S. Africa though - I put it down to jealousy

I thought it was a try, but S. Africa were the better side overall so I don't think it matters really.

I didn't really expect us to beat SA and they were the better team so fair play.
But what really made me angry was the sight of that fat, smug twat Gordon Brown milking the limelight and shaking hands with the players after the game. He's not even fucking English FFS !!!

I totally agree, just what you need when you've just given your all for your Country, but lost a World Cup Final, be greeted by a smiling prick trying to shake your hand.

To be fair to Gordon Brown, he would have been criticised for not being there as well. Sarkozy was there, as was that South African fella who refuses to believe there is a link between HIV and AIDS. I'm just happy we don't compete as Great Britain as we do in Rugby League. That would be crap.

I hate rugby - well I just dont get it really Its an outlet for the violent tendencies which lurk at some stage inside most men...much better to do it in a game form rather than have random punch ups. I used to play at school, and was a decent enough scrum half, the kid I used to compete with for the jersey went on to play for and captain England, he was a tough little bugger who I regularly had punch ups with, try as hard as I might I could never quite finish him off....You might want to reword that, Reg.
