Yeah, you're right he didn't mean to score. I think he was actually trying to hit some bloke in the crowd, but he caught it wrong and it ended up in the back of the net. You can see the disappointment on his face.

You can see the disappointment on his face. He certainly hit a few in the crowd thereafter, that was a great free kick, a one off. |
