Not being funny, but weve got all these plans for Tranmere and stuff. But what happens if the board announces the deal is 99.9per cent complete next friday?

The Tranmere game is (realistically) the only time we can protest and make something happen. We need to be able to react just as quickly as them. Waiting for a vote at a meeting (as the TRUST have been doing) its too late for that now.

I think we should keep an open mind that things might change dailly from now on. Il make my choice next friday night. If its looking much better Il be in the Town End. But if Bobs just come out the woodwork begging for funds again Il be in the north stand going mental.

Sorry, know what you are trying to say but the only thing that will make me change my mind is for a statement to be released saying that the deal is now complete.

I have been lied to once too often, and if I was them I would issue a statement on Friday afternoon calling for calm as the deal will be completed monday, in an attempt to stave off further protests.

Sorry..........I wont buy it !

it would depend what the statement said before we could make any judgment - i think thats what SW is saying, that things will change quick and we need to be prepared to do the same.

What else can we do though?

Tbh i am expecting a statement sometime during the next week saying everything has been sorted out just so a repeat of Tuesday doesn't happen.Of course it'll all be rubbish but most supporters will believe it.

i think the monday meeting is intended as a time to form a definate plan for a way forward.

Id say the march is one of the things Im on about. You need a massive amount of organisation, a massive amount of people all for something that might become obsolete at 5pm next friday. Also a march in my opinion is not something they will take any notice of. Unfortunately if you want them to take notice its got to be a bit unpleasant and in their faces.

Keep it simple!

We can't all be jumping the barriers having ago at the stewards and being agressive though,i know its not in my nature at least.
Surely there is room for everyone doing what they want to do?Be it a march, singing an anti-board song or standing outside the ground after the final whistle? It'll all add up,though tbh i can't see any of it helping Sad

What like the one in mid-August? And mid-September? That's the problem - we've been told so often that something is the case that turns out later to be just so much hogwash (or a transparent attempt to buy time) that it's now nigh on impossible to know when to believe even the most definitive-sounding statement, if at all.

Why not both tho Spence? the march would get good media coverage and keep the protests in the spotlight where we need them to be.  More reports on the news, front page of the adver would be great.  The more and more impact we make here the more people can keep reading the story and be influenced.  The media is our avenue to hit people that stopped going and say just follow the results, people that are undecided and people that don't know all the facts so I would say it is key as we try to keep the campaign going.

I know its not popular but I also agree in your face treatment will work as well.  At the moment Diamandis sees us more as pest's who will just go away he doesn't fully understand how much the club means to us all.  He has taken companies under in the past and faced anger from locals but he has never taken a company / club the size of Swindon under, I really believe he is underestimating what the response would be like if he took the club under.

Besides which Fred is being sill. False completion dates are set for Tuesdays and Thursdays, Fridays are reserved for statements. If we get Mondays and Wednesdays sorted we'll have something for every day of the working week.
