My knowledge of Ride extends no further beyond the fact they're from Oxford and had a song on a Donkey Kong CD. I think.
My knowledge of Slowdive extends no further beyond the fact the Manics once said "We hate Slowdive more than Hitler!" which I thought was really hilariously funny when I was 14 or something.

I must listen to shoegaze!

Isnt there something of a comeback of it lately?

Id recomend some tracks but my memory is a bit shot  and I need to be at home .Slowdive were slated by the music press at the time I think where as Ride were massive.

NME are trying to instigate a revival but they've called it new-gaze, how original.

I can't find the damn cd. I've probably thrown it out in a fit of OCD-esque tidying.

See if you can download Taste by Ride that pretty much sums it all up.

I've only got 76p in my bank account so iTunes is redundant, here's hoping shareaza or something works.

Did you like Lush as well? I forgot I liked them (well, Single Girl and Ladykillers) when I was in my yooooof  Cool I've just been listening to Bang by Blur as well, that was a proper nostalgia trip.

I was born too late.
