Me and my old man are planning to visit Spain next year to see both cities. The Real v Barca game is on Wednesday the 7th so will probably aim to go to this and then on to Barcelona to see them play Mallorca on the 11th.

What is the liklehood of getting tickets for the Real Game? Has anyone been to a Spanish game before?

i went to the bernabeu to see real v sociedad in 2004. tickets were about €20 for front row to the right of the goal, it was an end of season match though so i'm not sure whether prices change depending on the fixture.

i imagine getting tickets for the derby is quite difficult though.

Had a look for a client who is going out to spain for the last two week of the season... Real v Barca tickets are coming in at €500 at the cheapest!!!!

Yeah, my old man has done some investigation and he has found some at 400 Euro or 700 Euro with a package deal including a tour of the stadium. Given that it is so close to the end of the season and it potentially could be a title decider, I am sorely tempted to pay that.

the ground tour is worth about €10! don't get ripped off by those tour companies.

The Barca stadium tour is well worth it

Gold taps on the showers....spa in changing rooms, the Chapel as they pass through the tunnel, the view from the press box across the stadium

I've been to the Nou Camp to see Barca a few times before.

Normally you can roll up the day before the game and get a ticket from the ground or from one of branches of the Caixa bank in the city.

The exceptions to this are games against Real and for certain champions league fixtures.

The only time I've had to tout it was against Roma in the champions league a few seasons ago and the ticket cost me £60.

Don't bother with tour groups as they will just rip you off.

My flatmate is going to this game as well.

Decided we're going to pay 400-500 Euro for El Derbi, going to spend 3 nights in Madrid and then go down to Barcelona and stay there for 3 nights and go to Barca v Mallorca. Should be decent.
