It's sad to see but Mr Sturrock seems to have swallowed the clubs BS hook line and sinker.  He's suggesting the fans are targetting the wrong people, which makes it seem like the club wouldn't have any problems if it wasn't for a takeover deal taking a few months.

Well Paul, sad to say we were up to our ears in shit stinking debt when they employed you.  I might e-mail you the clubs accounts to have a look through and then you'll see we are indeed in around £12m debt (after allowing for the £4m share capital).  Try as you like, you can't really blame BEST for that.  The fact we sit on the brink of liquidation is down to one set of people alone I'm afraid.  They most recently put the club into Admin and then a CVA, meaning 6 years ago we were debt free bar the £1.4m we owed through that.  We've racked up debts on a continuous basis ever since with no sign of it stopping.

I thought maybe he had an opinion of his own but his words today go to show someone being fe a line because it's so far removed from the reality of the last 6 years, which can be seen in black and white for anyone to see.

fair point may he suggest BEST are the problem. lets face it how can they bring in a load of foreighners and improve us at the moment. the first 2 aint setting the place on fire. i think they want a 15 point deuction sturrock would go and probably half the squad would want out leaving the door open for them to fill the team with foreighn rejects and build us up their way. the way its going on the field i think is not the way they want to play it and sturrock knows it thats why he is a bit guarded against them. it looks like the board have chosen the wrong consortium to takeover the club and sorry mister sturrock thats their fault aint it.
