So... who was the "sauce close to the deal" who gave the adver the details then (assuming they are accurate)

Jim Little or someone else at BEST anyone?

It wouldnt be hard to predict the furiuous reaction and if protests etc work then it will lower the asking price

In amongst all the doom and gloom, some form of randomness is always bound to make you smile. I actually laughed at that post.

Thanks flammableBen.

Yeah sorry.

I said exactly the same thing to my brother earlier (about the Jim Little/BEST, not cunt custard!).

Seems like 2 sides at war at the moment. Unfortunately there's not many winners when it comes to war.

If someone was trying to charge you £8 million and heap an extra £10 million of debt on you for something thats probably worth about £4 million (when debt free) I rekon you'd be trying it on as well!

Hmmm, you'd have thought he would have asked not to say anything. Although I spose the Adver could have been a bit sneaky, or he just isn't that clever.

I'd be utterly astonished if they let him anywhere near the details of the deal. At all. He's been persona non grata with the Newbury mafia for months, they won't let him see the books, much less confidential details of a deal, far less still revealing stuff like £1.8m debt to IR, £11m to walk etc.

We'll never know because of the non-disclosure agreement.

But whoever it is, I sincerely thank them.

Surely there is an NDC in place (a non-disclosure contract?)
Best or anyone from it shouldn't be leaking facts anyway....
