I have nothing personal against these 3 fine STFC supporters but I am worried that if one of these three are chosen then you'll end up with all the normal anti-trust bollocks.

They won't be able to cover the amount of history that's gone on in the last few years without making the report last an hour.

Probably someone who follows the Trust's sentiments and states that the club is wrongly being held to ransom would probably suffice.

It has to be the TRUST. They represent a thousand fans, &  alot more agree with the fact that the current board need to be removed, even if they aren't pro fans consortium.
A few may be anti-fans consortium, but I assure you the majority are not & besides, this is about removing the ca**er in our club, not about putting anyone in particular in. (I've been told not to use the word cancer about the board)

I agree with that Arriba, but I'm concerned that without a real "Swindon face" i.e. ex-player, a Swindon fan who thinks all trust members are evil are not going to be convinced by a trust member talking about how the club is in danger.  As that kind of supporter is going to lay some of the blame at the trusts feet.

We need an ex-player who would be willing to talk of their disgust at the way the club is being run.

I still think someone like Phil King would foot the bill, the man did well at the charity event, and only has Swindon's best interest at heart.  No hidden agenda's there (not that I think there's a hidden agenda with the trust).

BUT until a mandate is given from the membership that we back this action it would be wrong to front it, as it would appear then to be Trust led.

As a side issue, I have been signed off work for 5 weeks with epilepsy, I cannot be seen all over the TV and papers leading a charge into battle.

as far as I understand it

about 50 people will end up outside the arkells afterwards, shouting and swearing making STFC fans look like complete dick heads infront of a TV crew and later on the news.

Please tell me im wrong....

Thats what I'm scared it will look like, and we'll become a laughing stock....

Unfortunately we are already a laughing stock. Everyone is laughing at us so us protesting on tele ent going to make much of a difference.
