as far as I understand it

about 50 people will end up outside the arkells afterwards, shouting and swearing making STFC fans look like complete dick heads infront of a TV crew and later on the news.

Please tell me im wrong....

I'm afraid you could be right DV, but things are starting to look pretty bad and we might not get another chance.

DV, Sippo, grow a fucking neck - both of you.

Like Tom said, it's do or die really. This could very really be our last ever game tonight.

I agree we've got to do something, dont get me wrong....

.....but in slightly more relaxed terms we said the same thing last year, got 50 people turn up....some dick heads just shouting words like fuck off and cunt a few times.....then back into the CGH for more beer.

I know its been said, but someone needs to say right....outside the entrance before the game......then behind the directors during the game and back outside after the game till they leave, not till you want another pint till they leave....if its 1am its 1 fucking am.

Plus, what do we sing and shout whilst we are there? again we dont want to look like idiots and be swearing consistantly for the TV crew because they wont even show it if we do.

I've got a neck, and testicles twice the size of it.....but if this going to be done and this could be our last chance it HAS to be done properly and effectivly.

Last seasons attempts, lets be honest were pathetic.....

because it was a handfull of people wanting to keep it all on the QT.  This time people don't give a shit and want it to be public knowledge.

Come up with a simple plan such as:

1) March of several hundred (should just about manage that from everyone on here and a few recruits at the time) on the turnstiles about 5 mins before kick off (meaning you don't lose the drinkers and might get a few last minute additions).

2) 1 or 2 simple Board Out style chants, as you say without abuse

3) Congregate afterwards, pass on the word during the game even if you don't know the person next to you.  Most will say piss off, some may join for a bit.

Get the word out about all 3 now.

Unfortunately I'm off sick today, so an appearance on TV could be my job, otherwise I'd be there is spades.

Gary I think this calls for a leader to unite behind ... now is your time ... take control Mr Stanley and lead the troops forward.

Seriously tho ... It needs someone to organise it as Gary has stated at the beginning of this thread ...

Gary is someone to look up to so I say it should be he - he is a good representative of the ordinary fan

Yep, as per my point 2, in the ground and people will join in in numbers.

would anything like a stand out/sit in work

Either dont go to the game, or dont leave....

Maybe all on the pitch afterwards for a sit down protest....storm the board room.....rather than just chants

Also, what would happen to Wills loan if he suddendly died?!

Do you know who should lead this??

Someone like Phil King.  IF this is as serious as it sounds surely Phil would be up to be the figurehead of such a movement.

Now is not the time for the likes of Paul D or Gary (no offence to either) trying to show the board and other fans that the board are screwing us.  We need Phil, an ex-player with only the clubs best interests at heart, to tell it how it is.

F*** his commentary connections, or the fact he may still get on with people at the club, if something isn't done NOW, then there will be no club.

Come on Phil, have the bollocks to be the leader of the protests, before it's too late.

Someone give the bloke a call to discuss.

Just my initial thoughts.
