I do feel sorry for Iffy. Bloody nice bloke and a good scout. Nice men don't make good managers though. I think all the great managers were Scots though. Alex Fergerson Bill Shankley Kenny Dalglish Lou Macari Paul Sturrock

Alex Fergerson Bill Shankley Kenny DalglishLou Macari Paul Sturrock Agree with the rest, but Dalglish? Inherited a good squad at Liverpool, was 'bought' the title at Blackburn. You can't put him in a list containing Ferguson and Shankly. (I ignored the obvious bias with Luggy and Lou )

Iffy was a pleb. He hardly instructed his players at all until they were 4-0 down then he just stood by the dug out waving his hands about.

Not tails - he was accompanied by Rich today alongside us - the lad had quite a high voice with a really thick Wiltshire twang to it - 'we are Sturrock's red and white army' never sounded so funny. He was really trying though fair play to him! It just sounded hillarious whenever he sang anything. As bad as the Gills were, we deserve some credit, we were awesome.
