...according to today's adver, because of not getting paid on time.

they will play today, but will they put in 100%?

yet more pressure heaped on the current board.

As proffessionals they should continue to turn up, know it is hard if they have familys but they should continue and let the players union take care of it

apparently the players had a meeting on thursday to discuss the possibility of going on strike, but decided against it.

If they did strike obviously we forfeit etc? or the club would try and bribe them with a percentage of their wages but this is scary even to think about, surely that would be the end and we would be thrown out of the league if we dont field a team.

I'd strike if I didn't get paid!  I think fair play to them for not deciding to do so.

Should it happen however, surely then it would be time to take action?

It's all getting really disheartening now isn't it. I have tried to not pay too much attention to what's going on with the board but it really is beginning to get beyond a joke, what next? 15 point deduction, players having to leave to pay bills, Sturrock leaving?

I genuinely feel sorry for you fans that follow us through thick and thin, home and away whatever the weather, you don't deserve the shite we are getting at the moment, the football is supposed to be an escape from the monotamy of the working week, not an extra burden!!

I honestly hope it is sorted out soon.

It's going to get worse i feel unless something is sorted out really soon with Best Holdings. The football league are losing patience with us and we could have a 15 point deduction. Imagine how bad that would hit morale at the club in general after a good start. And then what if the players strike if they are not paid next month? We'll be up shit creek in a relegation battle yet we won't have any players to play our matches.

Then there is the issue of the CVA. Can we pay that in the next month? Probably not and i doubt we will. I'm shitting my pants as many other probably are because it's no secret that the Inland Revenue are getting impatient. How long can they give us? More importantly how long will they give us?
