And they will get it. One of the best midfielders in the championship at the moment.

Had a shit start at Barnsley but doing well now - I always thought he was a decent player for us. Thought he'd eventually do well up there.

All that boy needed was taking away from Southampton where he could and did do anything he wanted.
Superb player and fair play hope he gets the step up

very underplayed by King and should never have been allowed to go for nothing Hate to say it but leaving us was just the kick up his (at the time) rather large posterior he needed. He was highly rated at Saaaarfhamton but had the reputation of a bit of a drinker and primadonna and I don’t think King ever really got the best out o him and from the last couple of games I caught him in he was waddling round the pitch like a blonde Man Mountain - Rick Waller.

Howard was good for us in the playoff season a few years back and I always thought he could do a job for us. I wish Howard well.

And we didn't even offer him a contract I believe! Think 4 of those are pens though. Still seems to be doing OK at the moment. Think he played himself out of a contract, got a bit big for his boots and wanted to move infield - a move he wasn't ready for at the time. Oh well, good luck to the lad.

If Howard was still here he might have drifted out of the game completely. He desperatley needed the move away from living in Southampton so he could concentrate on his football. He needed disclipine. King wasted Brian Howard as far as Im concerned.
Personally I thought he was one of the most exciting midfielders weve had at the club for a while. But he was part of the general state of decay at the club during the 04-05 season. The move was best for all parties. It just shows, when you cut off investment into a football team things go stale very quickly.
Swindon fans savaged him in the last few months he was at the club. So we cant have any complaints. He's turned it around by himself.
Curtis Weston might well also turn it around and go for a big transfer fee one day. Depends on whether he grows up.
