to be fair already gone to watch reserves several times this season. When ive been brought up to support liverpool its a hard decision. If it was the first team no question but some reserve crap when we'd probably lose seems waste of time.

I see what you mean. But, Liverpool will prob lose and we (I hope) will kick chippenham's ass. There's nothing like going to watch a game live. At whatever level.

Agreed but knowing that il be at forest coventry, 3500 forest fans gonna be at the game on wednesday cheltenham shrewsbury on friday and town walsall saturday watching top flight football seems that little bit more appealing. its an important game for the club as the whole as they haven't had an easy season (well in liverpools standards not swindons)...

i also dont think we will beat chippenham. It will be the likes of Lewis etc playing i wouldn't have thought howard and co wil get a run. might be wrong though.

What is your Ground/Team count so far then? Must cost you a lot to see some many games every year. You and asher have a contest going on or something?

I remember the days of watching Chippenham in the mid 90's when it was a handful of paying customers. I went with my dad (who's on the supporters commitee there, stopped watching Swindon because of the way the club was run in the late 90's) in about 1996 and 5 people went in support of Chippenham... Then the band wagon came along.....

Hope we beat them... They always make it sound like they beat our first team.

I need to work mine out I reckon its in or around 40 - 50 which isnt great.  I lived in London from 16 - 22 so all money available back then was spent coming to watch town.  Been to some great games, utd vs arsenal (6-1 I think) Millwall Vs Palace, Luton Vs Watford (when it went off everywhere)
followed alot of watford in the premiership and a mate whos a gooner use to sort me out with a lot of tickets.

Marie joins me as I drive and let her put on whatever dodgy CD's she wants.......Just dont ask her to direct you through Birmingham !!!  Cheesy

Fair play to her there arent many women who love or understand football like she does....

Next year im hoping to do a lot of the lower league as most of mine are in the Championship and First.  Best game this season was Celtic Vs Rangers.

Hoping to go and watch Ajax in the summer.....I worked out that I spend £80 on a night out and about £60 on a random game so its not that bad.

We will probably lose becuase we're struggling for a team at the moment!

I will be there with a couple of mates who dont go that often. Just thought it'd be a good chance to see some of our younger players.

Thought Marie might enjoy watching some of these little 15-year-olds!
