Apparently the police costs for the YT vs ST game on boxing day is only £3k less than the policing costs for the Manchester derby! something not quite right there methinks.
Apparently the policing has been heightened because one Swindon idiot threw a brick through a Yeovil coach after the match a couple of weeks ago.
I can understand YT not being willing to pay for extra policing but I think its still not on and I will still be there for the game.

Look at the policing for our away game at Hereford last season, hoards of coppers, the chopper, CCTV wagon. Did they charge us extra to pay for the extremely large police, presence, No. That must have cost them tonnes of money.

We did pay more to go to Rovers. Cat A is the same as Millwall vs Chelsea would get.

Every club in the league has to pay stupid costs for police, would this start a trend? Teams who have big followings etc and bigger police prescence do they start banning opposing teams fans?
Not only that but Yeovils economy suffers as well (even most dont care) but pubs etc suffer not only the F.C

Not only that but Yeovils economy suffers as well (even most dont care) but pubs etc suffer not only the F.C Swansea vs Bristol City games have to be by arranged Coach transport only with restricted capacity. So there are already some games impacted by Policing requirements. £40k is a massive bill for one game, it's more than clubs ion the Prem pay for most of their games with 10 times the number of people in attendance. It'll be because the Police can charge stupid overtime rates for Boxing Day.

Me and Dachauer are already half way there, why double the length of the journey by making us drive to Swindon to get a coach back and then to Yeovil?

It'll be a bit of a bastard if they ban us from going.
That said, I'll just pop down to Huish and pick up a home ticket.
Can't see how the Police can justify making it a category A game just for one brick.
I think we should ban Gillingham, Leeds, Rovers and any other fans who have had an arrest at their grounds from coming to the CG.
It's an absolute fucking joke...........................

Just been reading through the Yeovil Town forum and they're as pissed of as we are about it. They also said some complimentary things about Swindon fans being amongst the best and loudest they've had at Huish Park. Wish I hadn't thrown that brick now..........................................

I'm actually quite tempted to just go and sit in the home end if I am able to go. I know it's not Yeovil's fault - £40,000 is a stupid amount of money and I think the Football League should be doing something about it. There are games much more worthy of being "Class A" than Yeovil vs Swindon :|
