Following the match vs Bournemouth I returned to the car and meant to tune to Brunnel to listen to the poor 80's music and the minimal bit of post match reaction, however accidentaly found BBC Swindon and was surprised to hear Ed interviewing Sturrock about the game, checked Brunnel and found music. Spent the journey back to Ciren listening to a number of interviews with players and Ed's thoughts on the match, just like the good old days!! Has this been the case all season or have BBC Swindon been given extra coverage recently?

Nah they just can't do the match itself - doesn't stop them doing post-match.
Brunel out!

I think it's been the case for all of the games - BBC Swindon also have updates from Ed about every four minutes during the game.

After a few matches I have noticed that Ed has got to Luggy before our official media partner. The only thing is BBC RS understandably have axed the Friday phone in/preview and the post match fan comments seem less than before. I miss Brian from Larkhill I was happy though that after Saturdays game I got to hear some interviews on Brunel this week (just gone 5), an improvement on previous weeks 80's music fest. So I am not sure how you missed them

So I am not sure how you missed them Their frequency is strangely quiet in Bristol ... Radio Wilts loud and clear. Ditto for that tinpot station in Warminster. So much for improving coverage, eh? Covers most of Wiltshire my arse. You probably need a fucking 50ft aerial in Swindon to get it properly. </rant>

After a few matches I have noticed that Ed has got to Luggy before our official media partner. I work for ITV west occasionally and I was under the understanding the Brunel were supposed to get Luggy first but half they time they are faffing around and "on ad breaks" when everyone else is waiting for them to get on with it.

Has anyone voiced their opinions to Brunel FM recently?
Or do people expect them to read the forums to find out what they're doing wrong?

To be honest, it brings up another issue, that the people on the fringes of the old coverage area aren't being served any more. The website is shit. It doesn't work on my Mac anyway. I can't get it on the radio. Soccer Saturday has become my friend when I'm not there.

Variances due to a number of things - land mass, man made structures, local interference, etc, etc, particularly with the relative low power transmitter. Line of sight to the transmitter I bet you could get it 100 miles away. Stick a hill in between, probably won't hear it 5 miles away.
