A hunch!

We have a good/great manager? = yes
We have a good/great-ish squad? = Yes
Is the team performing well? = Yes
Are we losing points just because we cannot finish? = Yes
Do we have enough money to solve the problem? = Yes
Do we have the right contacts to use the money wisely? = Yes

And so my hunch is: Could we possibly be signing a couple of (Continental/brazilian/S. American) players, courtesy of Senior Jose's contacts over the next few weeks, on loan with a view to a permanent signing?

As I say It is just a hunch, after all I don't have the in-depth knowledge that STFC bart does, just makes sense to me that's all.

After all, the new board have stated that they want promotion this season

1) Because the takeover deal was not 100% complete at the time
2) Because Senior Jose was not appointed before that time
3) Because it may still take another game or for the board to be convinced the we need more fire power
4) If we have the money, the contacts and the ambition then WHY NOT!!!
