the fact that we cannot score more than 1 is very worrying
Were still misssing that prolific striker not matter who sturrock brought in and remember  cox is only here on loan heres not our player.

We aint got an Adam Boyd, unless Paynter settles in and starts to bang them in still think scoring is gonna be the issue

Sturrock sides have never really had a prolific goalscorer.....so it wont be an issue for very much longer.

Hartlepool haven't improved since last season but we have.  We will end up higher in the league than Hartlepool.

Oh but we have improved, today was a case of "after the lord mayors show" for us after the performance we put in at Leeds last week. Yes we got beat there but we played the best football we have played in years and if we can put in more perfomances like that one with added goals like we did against Oldham the week prior to that then we will be fighting at the right end of the league this season for sure.

Good game yesterday, open and entertaining.

Positives:

Blackburn; won't let us down when called upon, he looked very calm and assured.

Paynter; does the job upfront that Peacock should've been doing, only much, much better.

MacGovern; fantastic range of passing, good positional sense.

Peacock; looks more effective and comfortable in midfield.

Phil Smith; pulled off some fantastic saves.

Easton; gets better and better.

Cox; he's better than Sturrock jnr.

Comminges; looked as good (If not better) than Jack Smith.

Not so positive:

Ifil; without an experienced partner next to him he seems to lose something, his fucking head! Yellow yesterday and lucky not to get a second one.

Vincent; looked better in the centre of defence end of last season. Doesn't overlap enough and his crossing's not very accurate.

Zaboub; he's a fucking cunt. Still not laying the ball off when he should, shanking crosses, defends like a member of the Argentinian womans squad and had two really good chances to snatch all three points, but couldn't even get them on target. The cunt.

Considering the number of changes Sturrock made I thought the side performed very well, we had our chances to win it, but so did they.

Ref was a twat btw...........................

Cheers for that Hertha. I couldn't go yesterday and the brunel commetator's a cunt. I got more from your brief points about the game than i did listening to it. Not a fan of Zaaboub then?

It annoys me that the same people who slag off Pook (Yes I know he's not very good) Adore Zaboub and can't seem to recognise his faults.

Since the start of this season he hasn't impressed me at all.

The most overrated player in our side.

And the two chances he had late on yesterday! He should have put them both away, the fucking goal was open in front of him!

But no, the cunt couldn't even hit the fucking target.

That and all the dallying on the ball during the Yeovil game ... He was the focus of most of the verbal abuse coming from my gob.

Wonder how decent Roberts/JPG would be on the two wings?

That's the question isn't it? When Mcgovern gets settled. Who gets dropped Roberts or Zaaboub?
