The two organisations do cooperate e.g. over the Red Army Fund, threat of Town End closure etc. But what macca originally asked was whether they could merge and at the moment I'd have thought not, as we serve very different roles.

Back in the 80's did the supporters club run the coaches to away games? Was it a simmilar operation to now? Did the supporters club run many football special trains? Was there one to Carlisle one year?

SC ran the away coaches back in the 80's, and some football specials, although they were few and far between.....last one I recall was to Newcastle in the Cup....the train broke down, we got there 20 mins late..it was still 0-0.

South Coast Reds chose to leave the West Country for the Brighton area because of its thriving nightlife and metrosexual attitude to life.

Homophobic cunt.

Is that a lesbian reference, Si?

Where did you end up today btw? Is Fred still alive?

You should have come back to the Town Gardens to see my nephew's band play. They were pretty good.

I went out to see Cat. Well, I was hoping she'd come along to the gardens but wasn't answering her phone. Simon heads home. As soon as I get in the door the bint decides to ring me. Anyways I went out to the Steam Railway and then down the bottom of town to a place called Casbah. Crap.

And I've lost the back of my phone again. Although I remember it happening this time. Gay.

Fred was alive the last I heard. Not sure about myself though.

theres no march as far as i know, and theres nothing wrong with the gay community here, it sets brighton apart from any other city in england.

ask yourself a question, where woulod you rather go for a night out - brighton or swindon?

I like the gay population factor of Brighton.  People can be who they want to be without homophobic idiots being prejudice.

Brighton is ace and MUCH better than Swindon.
