I remember one asian guy at school 8 years or so ago now that told me that his parents had told him to only hang around and talk with other asians at school as 'they needed to stick together'.

I am not in essence a rascist or religious in any way, I am a humanist who will freely slag any religion or any person off if they are being a dick in my opinion which I freely have a right to, whether they be black/white/asian or whatever is irrelevant to me.  It is their actions that make my decision on whether I like them and as such I would never scapegoat a race of people or advise my children that whites/blacks or asians were 'worthy' of being their friends/playing with them etc.

Unfortunately it would seem that similar to the old age white english sex descrimination that the man should be the bread winner and the woman should be at home and have his dinner ready for him when he returns from work, the british asian youth of today are also being brought up by an out of date generation of asian parents with different morals and visions than the rest of the population.

They are taught to favour other asians over whites and whilst it continues it simply breads contempt in the rest of the population and as I appear to have also now done, it leads people to generalise a whole race when in reality the fault really lies with just the older generation!  Asian kids don't choose to dislike white kids because of the colour of their skin or even because they do or dont pray, eat different things etc, they dislike them because they are taught too by their parents and elders!

Re-education for the middle age populations, asians, whites, yellows, blacks is the only way to avoid a further generation of young adults with 'issues' that should not exist in the modern world.

Just my view anyway.

Good theory, but most people my age aren't racist, yet most most of their parents (To a greater, or lesser degree) are.

I wasn't re-educated, I just realised it wasn't logical to hate someone just because they've got a different colour skin, or belief system.

Asians stick together for the same reason as white kids stick together; you're more likely to have common ground with someone from your ethnic background.

That's not racism, we all choose our friends because we share something with then, be it a football team or whatever.

You can't force intergration, that's like a backward apartheid.

What we should strive for is tolerance.

Don't I sound all liberal and right-on?
