Its better than hanging around the bottom of town with 12 year old chavs trying to pinch your arse and listening to a load of 80's party tunes

I agree completely.

FWIW I hate Brunel.  It was probably ok back in its day but its chavvy pill popping central now.  Glad its being got rid of.

I don't go out Friday nights in town.

I'm basing it on experience from going previously.

Friday's in Brunel is quite cool, few too many scenesters, but at least they're a good friendly bunch.

For me, my ideal night out at the moment revolves around the Wheatsheaf, the Donkey, and occasionally the Vic. Sorted.

I've spent too much time in the bottom of town recently. Bring back the days of the Prince to Rolly pub crawl.

Apparently for someone's leaving do on friday we're going to The Spot then bottom of town. Hopefully we'll end up in Rouge instead or I might try and go home early.

You could come and meet me somewhere around midnight instead.

Hmm that could be a plan. I expect they might try and head off earlier than that though, the fools.

See i cant stand places like the appartments and the spot just cos everyone seems to be wanting to out do each other and thats not my idea of fun.
I want to feel comfortable in a place and not have to give a shit that when im drunk i look a mess Cheesy
I ended up at the bottom of town the other week, casbah, rush, the flag then bloody reflex and had one of the best nights! its all about the company you keep no matter where you are.

Agree with Miss A  Cheesy  Never been to the Brunel rooms, but it does sound like its full of people too self-obsessed to have a good time. You can't have fun if your always worried about wearing the right labels and having the same weird hair everyone else has.

Having said that i worry when i go to pubs like the Tawny owl,and i guess if i could afford the labels i'd like an excuse to flash them.

Think you mean apartments Mrs Larwood, Brunel is no where near full of labels, in fact labels would get booed at in my opinion

Correct. You do have to ensure your jeans are particularly skinny though.
