I think Sturrock is a quality manager at this level and I for one am very glad he's here.
The only thing that fucking annoys me about him is his refusal to change the team unless they lose.
If we had started with JP and Cox it may have been very different yesterday.
Shit game, shit atmosphere and a very quiet drive home with my Yeovil supporting friend, who, to be fair to him, waited until we got back to the pub before he started to take the piss.
As the only Swindon fan there it was not a good night.
Especially when the whole pub started signing 'Who are ya!' at me.

Yup, Sturrock isnt that great
If you go back and ask fans of Dundee United, St Johnstone, Plymouth & Sheffield Wednesday, they wont say he is a god or a brilliant manager who did wonders for their club.
They will all infact tell you 'he isnt that great' :|
Get a clue for fuck sake! who would we replace him with? who has a better track record in this league that Sturrock? Who is actually a better manager in this league than Sturrock?

Infact both us and Millwall think he's a bit of a cunt (for different reasons, rightly or wrongly) and he may have started well with Leeds this season, but he got them relegated last season. Infact most Leeds fans think he's a cunt as well.

Dennis Wise.
Games in charge at Swindon: 17 Won: 9 Lost: 3 Drawn: 5 Win%: 52.94.
Paul Sturrock.
Games in charge at Swindon: 32 Won: 18 Lost: 8 Drawn 6 Win%: 56.25.
If football is a results orientated business, Sturrocks beats the pygmy.
If football is entertainment, Sturrock beats the pygmy.
Wise is not as good a manager as Sturrock. The stats prove it................

I was one who often criticised Andy King for changing a winning team, or tinkering around too much positionally. Loyalty to those who do well is good, the trick is to only change when necessary, which Sturrock seems to be doing IMHO.

I know people disagree and i accept that but when sexist comments are brought into it - it angers me. Just cos i'm a 20 year old female doesn't mean i know nothing about football. In fact i like to think i know an awful lot about football. The only difference is i have opinions that not everyone agrees with. Do you have a boy friendNope I don't have a boyfriend. It'd be nice if i did though.

And just cos Sturrocks had a good record everywhere else doesn't mean hes going to have it here - his good run has got to end sometime and unfortunately i think its with us.
I agree with Toni, that Paul Sturrock's a big shit. I mean just because he got Plymouth promoted twice it really doesn't mean that he'll be able to get us out of League 2 does it. I hate the bloke, in fact I'll never be able to forgive him for finishing 3rd in that league last season. Like she says he's lucky period has got to end and hopefully I'll be proven right when it's here at the CG and we'll be wallowing in the relegation zone so I can say to all you Sturrock sheep - ha ha I was right. Bring back Iffy, before there's a feint possibility of some happy days in Wiltshire. Thank you janaage. Everyone was having a go at me last night saying that cos i'm female i don't have a clue about football and i felt i was being got at. You've cheered me up no end cos i know i'm not alone now.

I'd agree with you if we had won our last 2 games before Yeovil, but we didn't, we drew. And it's been glaringly obvious since the beginning of the season where the problem lay, even to Sturrock. That's why he brought two new strikers in on deadline day. If you sign players who you consider are better than what you've got, you should play them. It's all very well be loyal to players, but I want to win games. If it upsets a few of them, tough shit. They'll have to work harder to improve thier game and get back in the side.
