there's a decent jazz cafe just up the road from the wetherspoons on the other side of st Marys road.

Also if you are looking for loads of young student types (young fit women) there go to jongoleurs. Its a comedy club upstairs, bar on the middle floor and a decent night club downstairs. Go out of the staion past the first wetherspoons, as you pass the 2nd wetherspoons turn left and follow the road down, it's on the right - you can't miss it.

st mary's street was carnage last saturday night. The Yard opposite Prince of Wales is decent, no shoes allowed though (WTF?). Is it? bar near o'neills was funny. I used to go to uni there - uncreognisable now. All the decent clubs have made way for shitholes like flares and the like. poor.

From an England fan's point of view, I really don't know who I want to win.

I don't want the Germans winning it, equally the Taffs as well. And a draw just wouldn't be value enough.

For comedy value, the krauts getting stuffed would be very funny Cheesy

But that would mean wanting the taffies to win and I can't bring myself to do that........

Enjoy the day.  I'll be there.

Apparently Germany have sold less than half their 6000 tickets, which is a shame.  Those that do make it will find Cardiff a home from home: great social, great stadium and cheap tickets.  Proper football.
