the wise thing got me thinking about terms that managers/players/any other football related person always seem to use when interviewed.
For instance Brian 'had more clubs than jack nicklaus' horton always used the answer/question technique with that annoying voice of his : -
-so Brian losing 10 on the bounce must be disappointing for you?
-well, thought we played well today didn't we? we were unlucky weren't we? they had the rub of the green didn't they? we've always got next week to turn it around aint we?
Everyone knows Arsene Wengers favourite 'well, err, i didn't see the incident'.
And I know andy king was top dog at this so feel free to post your observations.

things that bother me are when anyone talking about football uses a players name as if there are loads of them, they do it the same with team names
example
"if you are going to compete with the arsenal's or the chelsea's or the gerrards or the beckhams of this world"
there's only one fucking team or player so just say if you are going to compete with arsenal or chelsea.
the other one that really gets on my nerves is nick collins from sky starting every question with "how important"
of course its all important :fu:

aren't there quite a few Arsenal's around the world? presume the same might be true of Chelsea as well.
