Anyone think the club or the Trust should organise a collection for Antonio Puerta's family at the Crewe game?

Just thinking that a few people going round with buckets before, during and after the match could potentially generate a nice tidy sum for his devastated family.  Remember the poor bloke's girlfirend is due to give birth to his first child next month.... she could probably do with all the help she can get at this difficult time.

Don't mean to sound disrespectful but I would rather raise money for the family of Ray Jones of QPR who was killed in a car crash last weekend.

He was the Sevilla player who collapsed during one of their matches and then suffered multiple heart attacks in the dressing room.  Died yesterday after a fifth attack.

That would be an equally good call.

I think it would be better to raise it for a heart charity. It might mean more to some people and would mean a lot to the family too.

With respect, I don't think that's within the Trust's remit..?

No disrespect but i would expect that Sevilla themselves would make sure that Puerta's family are financially sound, or i hope they would.

He crashed into a double decker bus at 20 past 12 at night.

I dont mean to sound harsh, but sensibly driven cars dont crash into double decker buses, killing everybody inside.
