This is a bad sign for me and the more and more developments we see the more worrying it becomes.
I don't know how people can say we may have been looking for a fitness coach? weigh it up that doesn't make sense Sturrock has his own staff which he takes to his various club's Blatchely etc and he already has people that work intensively in this area. We have hardly started the season sluggishly have we?
It will be interesting to see Sturrocks take on this and the fact its yet to be announced on the official website may speak volumes in itself. As they have gone to him and said we have decided to take on a fitness coach to make the team sharper to which I imagine his response would be 'why wasn't I consulted'.
This is yet another worrying development and those who choose to ignore it are simply burying there head in the sand :?

Funny that only two of the articles on the adver site today have been given so much attention, but not the article in which Sturrock was interviewed. In that article, he doesn't seem to be angry or worried about the new owners.
I'm sure that the experts at 'reading between the lines' will be able to detect some undertone though.................

I can't blame people for the way that the Club has mismanaged communication to fans and the general bad stench PR that they have employed.
Where is the good news?
There have been numerous 'Things are going to be wonderful', 'It's the end of all our financial woes', 'We're gonna be a force again', 'There's more money than you can shake a stick at', 'We're gonna pay off the CVA' etc statements by the Board.
But what has actually happened?
To me, all that has happened is that a mysterious Portugese Company has now got involved - which may or may not involve certain Board Members or ex-General Managers. Oh and by the way, 'No, we're not going to tell you who is behind the Portugese Company'. So we are now supposedly at the end of the golden rainbow and what has actually happened? Seriously, what quantifiable GOOD points have actually happened since the bullshite PR that the Board think we are all naive enough to simply digest without question. Why the need for secrecy? You only keep things secret when you have got something to hide.
Have there been any statements, either in the Adver today in Sturrocks interview or in previous media interviews that indicate that he was looking for a fitness coach. Whilst I stand to be corrected, I can't remember any.
I can personally see why people do 'read between the lines' and certainly wouldn't blame them for doing so.
