I dont think that there is any contradiction though. The adver has not actually said that they are looking to takeover but that they have been in contact with the club about "some" involvent.

As per usuall the club have over reacted.

Club statement certainly seems to differ from the Castro's interpretation both in the UK and Portuguese press - they certainly seem under the impression they are involved and/or in talks. Hmm.
I do hope that you are not questionning the sincerity, honesty, truthfullness and integrity of the Swindon Town board Paul.

Heaven forfend. However with today's swift contradiction of what the Castro bros appear to be saying to the press both here and overseas, and Saturday's "Swiss Bob" statement, they do appear to be getting themselves in a bit of a tizz about the whole takeover "is it or isn't it?" thing. A more cynical mind might find such defensiveness suspicious. Personally, I'm inclined to put it down to a genuine desire to communicate more openly with supporters and as such only to be welcomed. I'm sure in this spirit, we'll see a further clarification within the next few days that will finally reveal properly who the new owners really are and clear up all doubt and mystery. That'll sort out the cynics and naysayers - like that Maverick, for one  Cheesy

I agree - let's hear it for the Board and their newfound openness, transparency and honesty

 Clap Clap  Clap  Clap

Bless em........... :wanker:  :wanker:

The stench coming from stfc is unbearable.....

All of a sudden they are happy to release statements again.....surely it should be down to Little Jim to do the statements as chairman designate.

I'm guessing that Jim does not know that they have the keys to the sweet cabinet back again

I am not trying to hide that we are involved [ in the takeover ] at Swindon. But for the moment I cannot say any more", explained an enigmatic Dionísio Castro to the DN sport

You could say watch this space and if things go well maybe we will be involved with Swindon by the end of the season.
(Jordao in this morning's Adver - sorry about the "watch this space")

Contrary to reports, no talks have taken place with the Castro brothers and none are planned in relation to the takeover of the club.
(from club statement)
Looks like a contradiction to me - Jordao contradicting Castro, and the club denying them both.

Yep. Today's statement and Saturday's bizarre Holtisms reek of panic reactions.

Erm, or maybe he's still not back from the US? No need to create mysteries here, there's plenty of genuine ones!
