Pate is one of those things that always tastes better in France than it does in England, bit like Guiness and Ireland.

    Farmhouse pate de campagne washed down with some vino for lunch......mmmmm.

   I'd say a good Wiltshire faggot is not dissimilar, and could make an interesting cook for a dinner party.
