Extra couple of quid?!!! I get in the Town End for £12. So that's an extra £8 for the same standard of football. As for travelling, I'll be in London anyway so that's not an issue!

Millwall vs Swindon is exactly the same standard of football as Swindon vs Millwall, for which a student ticket will cost £12.

So there  Tongue

For those planning to train it down there, the OS states that the station nearest to the New Den will be closed over that weekend and that tube service is limited.

Just so you know...............

Theres a replacement bus to South Bermondsey station from london bridge.

Paddington > london bridge looks fine on the tube. Bakerloo then Jubilee lines. Will need to double check that I guess, but I can't see anything saying it can't be done.

Unless it can be arranged to hire one for all who'd normally go on train but then comes the problem of no booze allowed..........

I think it's scare mongering to stop any potential trouble.

Can't remember the last time I had a drink before the football, that's the problem with having to drive.

On the plus side, at least I don't get escorted out/refused entry/shit in a alley and lose all my clothes.

Swings and roundabouts...................... Wink

Tubes fine - no planned works on those lines from the look of it. Always a limited service at the weekends anyway.

Looks like it should be an easy enough journey. Don't know what the fuss is about.

There was no fuss, I merely informed people who may have not known that the station was closed.
