Now my son has joined the ranks of the working men and can contribute to away day travel costs, we've decided to go to this one.

Anyone been before?

We'll be driving up and was wondering about time, stops. etc.

Anyone else going?

Took us five hours last year at a very steady pace with two 20 minutes piss stops and a caravan strewn across the M1.

Me and the old man were up there for just gone 11 last season, gave it a bit too much leeway.  Shocking town, aim to arrive about an hour and a half before kick off and avoid the centre like the plague.

That pre match pub was crazy with that little kid sat on the door charging £1 to go in!  Beer was proper cheap though, think around £1.70 for Becks!

I won't be going this year as I'm in Manchester all weekend of the 15th September,

If you don't get a better offer, PM me.
