9.5 out of 10 for Malouda, maybe a 10 if Klinsmann was a judge

That's Rob Styles for you. The man who once booked George Ndah for getting an elbow in the face, which caused a disclocated cheekbone, does it again.

And he had his own Graham Poll moment. There is no doubt in my mind that he did book Essien for a second time, but forgot he booked him in the first half, and that is why he didn't produce a red. When he looked at his list on his yellow card, and eventually noticed, by saying that he didn't book him in that incident, that seemingly gets him off the hook.

Yep!!! I thought exactly the same. Referees should be banned after performances like that.

he didn't even attempt to dive, just tried to get out of the way of the ball and finnan(?)'s challenge for the ball and ended up jumping on top of the defender

yet styles was about five yards away with nothing blocking his view.

absurd

What goes around comes around - last week Gerrard dived to win the free-kick that beat Aston Villa - this week they got a shit referee that cost them victory.

Football's ace.

The game also confirmed that I hate Andy Gray more than I hate shit referee's.

indeed, Gerrard said the Chelsea players intimidated the ref, but what about his dive last week when he was in the refs face demanding a free kick - what goes around comes around, football usually evens itself out over a season.

gerrard did the same against sheffield united towards the end of last season (to win a penalty). sheffield ended up losing and finished the season getting relegated, but you don't see them making a big song and dance about refereeing decisions, do you?
