This is what Mourinho thought....

2 points from 3 games, and only 1 goal scored, despite spending £30m+ on strikers !!

City are looking good so far, Man utd will do the business eventually though. Liverpool for the league.

City are flying. I reckon they'll finish 4th. Early days yet though but Sven's effort in trawling through videos to find his players seems to be paying off.

I agree but i think lets see how they stand after ten or so games. It's early days yet.

You've got to question Fergies recruitment strategy. He's spent about £50m on attacking players in the last couple of seasons and he's left with:

Rooney
Solskaer
Saha
Tevez
Ronaldo
Nani
Anderson

And not a natural six yard box centre forward amongst them (with the possible exception of OGS who's an old crock).

Why would you buy Tevez when you've got Rooney; Nani and Anderson when you've got Ronaldo; and at the same time let someone like Smith go on the cheap?

Very odd.

United should have won 6-1 yesterday, it was just one of those days at the office they will still be there in the end, City certainly wont be.

Impressed with Liverpool, what about that penalty decision in favour for Chelsea, one thing for sure Mr. Singh wouldn't have given it.

What the hell is this Man City love in that seems to have got the whole nation by the balls?  The way SSN are going on about it you'd think that Man City have just beaten the European Champions 6-1 by playing some amazing dutch 1970's style footie.

How can anyone say City are flying.  They beat a dreadful West Ham 2-0, an even worse Derby by a whopping 1 goal to nil, and survived a battering by Man Utd to win 1-0.  They are playing dreadful football, relying heavily on the talented Richards.

Sven's style of football is horrible to watch and yet people ignore this by talking about how well City are doing.  We're three games into the season.

City will struggle if they continue to play as they are.

That's the point I'm trying to make!  Football nowadays seems to be 100% about scraping 3pts.  And Sven has proven it, a lot of England fans were angry with Sven in the major championships because England played crap.  When in truth in qualifying England looked crap but because you scraped through all was forgiven.

It's shortsightedness in the extreme.  If you're happy to scrape the wins be prepared to take defeat on the chin and not blame the bloke when it doesn't work out.

Like Dell Boy said it could have been 6-1 yesterday, if that scoreline is produced in the rematch I hope the City fans are prepared to accept the result without slagging off their manager's tactical style
