Did...
...Duncan Shearer ever play for Blackburn in the top flight (even as a sub)?
...Alan Mac or Fitzroy ever play for Pompey in the top flight?
...Bodin ever play for Palace in the top flight?
...Oggy Hunt ever get on the pitch for Town in the top flight?

Pompy hadnt been in the top flight for ages prior to Harry Redknapp getting them up a few years back?

Zippy's last game was notable for a first Palace goal from sub Stan Colleymore.

I have heard that, not from horses mouth, but from an old colleague of Shearer's, but I assumed he hung around for a little longer than he actually did. Fair enough. Happy that one was at least right (Bodin). |
