Does that mean I'll need to get a ticket before matchday?

Well on Tuesday, it looked like it was all about some pointless little barrriers being set into the front......maybe 20% had been completed.

3 days for the remaing 80% and time for the cement to dry.......eusssssh(sharp intake of breath)..........sorry more than my jobs worth

I asked in the ticket office at lunchtime and all I got was

"Well they're still working on it"

Maybe they'll chuck the t.e.'ers on the Stratton bank if it's still closed.

If I can't sit in my seat I'll walk through their wet cement and write 'cunts' in it.

are the barriers being put in because of the mindless fans who stand down the front causing obstructions?
if so its their faults nobody elses.
if the barriers are not being fitted for that reason then i'd blame stfc

Correct Arriba!!  I asked the question of a staff member whilst passing earlier, he also told me that the welding will not be finished but that the Town End will be open to all those who had already purchased tickets.  Apparently the barriers are for the fans' safety and the club knew about this a couple of years ago!!

I don't think anyone will argure against health and safety of the fans being paramount. It's a shame that the work wasn't done a couple of weeks earlier.

Still, one game in the Arkells is hardly the end of the world

i got marched down from the arkells into the nw tuesday night via the townend. it's just some black barriers at the front row of seats, to keep that gangway open i presume and stop people rushing to the front.

by tuesday night, they'd put up a bit of yellow tape and a few rails were lined up in place leaning against seats.

i guess they hired the aussies who did wembley
