Anyone got a view on this?
I thought it was a bit harsh to be honest...thought Hughes was being a bit of a cunt...

What goes around, comes around. In my view. About time that cheating buggar got what he deserves.  He's always getting other booked.

Good shout. He does well not to react every time some big fucker kicks lumps out of him, but might make him learn  Smiley  as it did Beckham. ish.

If anyone tries to defends there's plenty of moments where he's conned the ref in the past - plus regardless to how much the Pompey player milked it - he did try and headbutt him and I don't understand why players keep doing it!

He deserved to be sent off, regardless of whether it was or wasn't a headbut, merely because he was stupid enough to attempt it 2 yards from Steve Bennett in his direct line of view!

Doesnt matter if he made contact or not. Rules state that you get sent off for "headbutting or a ttempting to head butt a player"

Actually it doesnt have the head bit in there, but I dont want everyone giggling like school kids.

perhaps only a yellow, but it was definitely an aggressive motion of the head towards the other bloke - if you're sticking to the letter of the law thats a red card. bit harsh but hard to have sympathy for ronaldo.

Did the Pompey player get up and wink at one of his players after the incident?

A premiership player feigns an injury, how unusual............

Was it not the same ref that had sent him off previously as well?  Can't remember what season and who against mind.
