That is brilliant Paul. Has anyone else stumbled across this site while looking for info on Best Holdings? http://www.corporationstoday.com/strategies_asset.htmlObviously a cruel coincidence that a US 'asset protection strategy' for companies in the same state as the club just happens to share the new name of our holding company. Establishing Loss, Inc. and Best Holdings Consider a situation whereby one's business does not profit. This can be construed in a number of ways depending on how total costs, total expenses, and gross and taxable income are factored, but in general, one's net earnings are limited or non-existent. Extend this particular situation to where this business also retains no assets. A consequence of this situation is that the taxable income remains limited, and to a large extent, your liability is reduced. The issue regarding a reduction in liability corresponds to being less attractive for a lawsuit. The adage, "You can't squeeze blood out of a turnip," is appropriate. In general, lawsuits are less likely to endure when the target has little, if anything, to award.

I wonder if the FL are aware of what's going on, and if our new overlords will pass the fit and proper person test ?

I wonder if the FL are aware of what's going on, and if our new overlords will pass the fit and proper person test ? Things like the fit and proper persons tests are laudable, but completely toothless.....Diamond Mike has shown its possible to run a club without seemingly being a director or employee. The only test should be as to whether we the fans want these people running our club.....I'd say at the moment the jury is very much out on that. They have a window of opportunity now to reveal what they intend to do to take the club forward.....failure to do so, should mean the start of a battle to seek different ownership.

Don't be stupid, of course they know, it's their job to know I think that's a little naive. So many scandals and things slip through the net in football, even recently (Tevez, Mascherano). They'll have to know by now though.

Not so sure that they would have been informed as of yet though, it is probably the responsibility of the new lot to give the info to the FL.....plus surely the FL would then be looking at change of ownership what happens about the CVA ? Don't the FL have to recieve a business plan as well for budgets etc ? Although I suppose the FL share is not changing companys just the company that owns the company that holds the FL share so in a sense the FL probably has not been informed yet. I expect Diamandis was too busy counting his 'consultancy fee'

Don't be stupid, of course they know, it's their job to know The fit and proper persons test only applies to directors, not owners/shareholders. One of the many ways in which it's possible to drive a coach and horses through this window-dressing regulation.

I've notice that in Swindon Town Centre there is something called 'Swindon By The Sea', with the football club and speedway in attendance, over the next few days.
Will Mike B be digging out his Mr Whippy van so he sell a few ice creams...and at the same time show us these 'plans', which are seemingly in his head.
