You are probably right. I'd suggest we won't know the true implications of the takeover for several months if not more. Obviously we will see an increase in budget and the CVA paid off initially, but long term - who knows or is likely to find out...

From Holt's quote, it says the CVA to be paid off when new investors come in. If that's the case, why all the fuss about delaying it until next May ?

I'll not be convinced until money actually changes hands, and our obligations are met.  Actions speak louder than words.

And Gazzza, in my opinion, if 'mates' fall out about politics, I would question the definition of 'mates'

I think the actual wording from Androniku was 'Up to next May'.

Probably just covering the bases in case the takeover fell through.

Read through the threads mate. We all knew it would happen so it has come as no shock. As i have said in this thread if this takeover is going to wipe out all our debt then they will surely have the money to pay BP off.
