Anyone know why Andy Caton is not part of the 1st team squad, with Sturrock using a couple of the youth team players for the bench I thought Caton would be used so Sturrock can have a look at him, as if I remember correctly he is only contracted until  January as well

Same here. He showed a lot of promise and I genuinely want the lad to do well. Hopefully we'll be seeing him back to his best sometime soon

The last time I saw him play he was used in midfield (On the wing?) and looked really comfortable there.

Shame about all the injuries he's suffered.

I don't think that he'll be seen again in a league game.  This is a bit of a tragedy, the kid had talent.

i went to a recent supermargarine game and he played in that.well the first half he was on the pitch at least.
did nothing and was subbed at half time.

i'm sure he will be on the scrap heap in the near future.shame as the lad had promise

he played in a a couple of the youth team friendlies, in one he was dragged off after twenty minutes and Sturrock really bollocked him, signs not looking good if hes that poor against youth teams, but hes a great lad and i hope he can turn it round.

Anymore news on Caton?

Such a shame if he's lost it completely.

Caton has been told the same as Alex Rigley, that he wont be offered a new deal after xmas, so can either stay till then and not play, or leave now. Rigley left and has been training with Weymouth, not sure if Caton took the option to leave now or not.
