Totally agree, at times Luggy did not even have 2 keepers on the bench last season when Brez was playing, so that would mean that we would have 2 keepers and one would not even get on the bench or play in the reserves as Luggy likes all his players that don't play in the 1st team to play in the reserves to keep fitness levels up. brez was injured before sturrock came to the club, it was wise who often omitted a sub keeper as williams was a capable emergency replacement, much like warnock did at sheff utd for awhile. sturrock nearly always had stewart on the bench.

My take FWIW is that the new keeper is being foisted on Sturrock by George and Brevitt. Yup, why else would we want/need to sign a 3rd keeper?

Its Diamandis work again FFS Another fantastic post. Based on no factual evidence, or even logic.

Its Diamandis work again FFS Bart, just fuck off. You're entitled to your opinion, but I'm entitled to be fed up of reading constant unsupported crap presented as fact Theres no real proof we are after this guy, there's no real proof we are looking to offload either of our keepers, there's no proof Diamandis remembers who Brezovan is.

Id be sad to see Brez go if thats the case .. but if it meant a quality striker like Constantine coming in .. well worth it .. Phil Smith proved to be a good No 1 in Brezs absence .... wait and see i guess

The way i see it is that this new chap is being forced on sturrock by brevvet, meaning brezovan will be sold to fund Diamandis supply of cuban cigars. Then smith and this new chap will be sold for a combined fee of 500k, wich will then be spent on re-painting the town end toilets, and buying three more defenders. we will then continue to play rush and skully troughout the season, whilst also playing in skins.
OR, this new chap has been brought in as one for the future. but that seems to reasonable

Fuck the new bloke. he's one of many random trialists forced upon Sturrock me thinks.
The whole Brez vs. Smith thing is absolutely insane. They're the 2 best keepers we've had since Digby (maybe Talia on a good day).
But having both is a waste. I'd prefer to keep Brez. I dunno if I've been believing Dennis Wise too much, but I sort of agree that he looks a bit of a class above. I wouldn't be too bothered if we sold either of them though, just not both.

I'm shocked that Onuora didn't use his influence to get him to Gillingham
