During the clip show at about 33/34 seconds in you get an insight to the type of defender I was when I was a kid.
The kid in green takes his opponant out of the game in style. No nonsense defending.

has to be said the lads got natural ability. nine years old is patehticly young to start making stupid predictions about him being the next wayne rooney though as there is no end of things that could go wrong or he could just simply never get any better.
what he does have though which im quite shocked about is good vision. any normal kid with that ability would be inclined to take everyone on and score every time, but even though he takes it around three or four players at a time he seems to know when to pass and can spot a decent pass.

A lot of young kids have come in the public eye over the years saying that they are the next George Best, and they've gone nowhere.
There was that young British kid who was 10-11 back in the early nineties, who had all the skill in the world, and went to train with Ajax. Yet he didn't even make it into pro football.
